$1.1 MILLION IN HOME-ARP FUNDS AVAILABLE

South Dakota Housing is making $1.1 million in HOME-ARP funding available to eligible non-profit organizations and units of local government to address housing needs for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability and other qualifying populations.

HOME-ARP is federal funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The funding can be used to support a variety of housing and service needs, including affordable rental housing, supportive services, tenant-based rental assistance, and the acquisition and development of non-congregate shelter.

South Dakota Housing will host an informational meeting for interested applicants. The meeting will provide an overview of the HOME-ARP program and an opportunity for applicants to ask questions about the funding and application process.
